Untitled (Two Girls) – Original Art by Meghan Borah

Two women, a striking resemblance, and a question left open. In Untitled (Two Girls), Meghan Borah depicts two figures in bold monochrome, with vivid red lips providing the only burst of color. Their likeness invites a closer look: are they sisters, or perhaps mother and daughter?

This original work explores identity, resemblance, and connection without settling the relationship for us. The title leaves room for curiosity, while the shared features offer a starting point for your own interpretation. It is a piece that invites conversation, but is equally rewarding to spend a quiet moment with on your own.

Created in 2021 using textile dye on muslin, the work measures 9.5 by 9.5 inches and is framed. Display it on its own to give the two figures your full attention, or include it among other favorite artworks. Its square format and selective use of color bring a distinctive presence to a personal collection, with a story that remains open to discovery.
