As an architect and interior designer with experience in San Francisco, New York City, Shanghai, and now Evanston, I am deeply passionate about creating spaces that are not only beautiful but functional and cozy. After living in Shanghai for eight years, the pandemic sparked an unexpected move across the world for my family and me. For a year, we lived without our personal belongings in Evanston, which forced us to take an emotional inventory of the objects in our lives. This experience taught us that even the simplest, everyday items should have meaning and value. It also revealed what we could live without, inspiring new ideas about the essentials that truly make a place feel like home.
