The Body, The Mind, This Constructed World Catalog

Catalogue of the solo exhibition of Anders Herwald Ruhwald (1974, Denmark), winner of the 2024 Guggenheim Prize, with in-depth texts on the site specific exhibition at the Amici Casa Jorn and gardens.

The exhibition “The Body, The Mind, This Constructed World”, took place from 17 July to 30 September 2018 at Casa Museo Jorn in Albissola Marina and was also made possible thanks to Officine Saffi, a Milanese gallery that in April hosted a first exhibition of works created by Ruhwald: “The Thing in Your Mind”.

The Albissola exhibition is the first Italian museum exhibition dedicated to the Danish artist.

The works on display are fifteen sculptures created specifically for Casa Museo Jorn, installed inside and around the buildings and gardens of the museum. These works are the result of a year of research, carried out by the artist, on Asger Jorn’s writings and theories on architecture and design.
