Inku Plate by Sergio Herman for Serax - Set of 2
It was the Japanese sense of sophistication and imperfect perfection that top chef Sergio Herman was able to infuse into the Inku tableware. It's tableware with clear references to shell shapes, blossoms and the abstract structures of nature.
"With Inku tableware, we can not only decorate the plate nicely but complete tables with blossoms in ceramics," says Herman, who will use the tableware in Le Pristine brasserie in Antwerp.
Sold as a set of two, each Inku plate layers beautifully with the rest of the Inku collection or brightens the plain white dinnerware you already own. Everyday meals, dinner parties, and slow weekend breakfasts all suit it. Mix it with other pieces from the collection for a table that feels collected rather than matched. The sculptural shapes sit as happily on open display as they do on the table, and a set makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves design-led tableware.
